Identifying Where to Edit in Drupal
Before fixing an issue, you need to know where it "lives." In Drupal, there are three main ways to access content:
If you are logged in and viewing a page, hover your mouse over the area with the issue.
- The "Pencil" Method
- The Cue: If a small Pencil Icon (or a gear) appears in the top-right corner of a block, click it and select Edit.
- Best for: Menu links, sidebar blocks, and individual video/image widgets.
If the issue is in the main text of a page (like a heading or a link):
- The "Content List" Method (Pages, Articles)
- Go to Admin > Content.
- Use the Filters to search for the page by title or type.
- Click Edit next to the correct page.
If a link in the top nav or footer is broken or missing text:
- The "Menu" Method (Navigation)
- Go to Structure > Menus.
- Select Main Navigation (or Footer).
- Find the link title and click Edit (to change the text) or Delete (to remove it).

How to add Embed Videos in Drupal Using the Media Library
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Get the Link: Go to YouTube or Vimeo and copy the video link from the "Share" button.
- Add to Media Library: * In Drupal, go to Content > Media > Add Media > Remote Video.
- Paste your video link into the Add Remote video via URL field.
- Crucial: Click the blue Add button directly next to the text field first. Once the video thumbnail and title preview load underneath, scroll down and click Save.
- Insert Into Your Page: Go to your FAQ page, edit the content, and use the Insert Media button (the small musical note/camera icon in the toolbar) to select and embed your newly uploaded video.
